Women’s Center of Montgomery County

During my internship with Communications Solutions Group, I had the rewarding opportunity to work with the Women’s Center of Montgomery County. The Women’s Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering survivors and providing vital support to individuals affected by domestic violence. My work was largely focused on their 5th anniversary celebration, where I designed engaging social media graphics and wrote press releases to amplify their outreach.

National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation

During my Spring 2026 semester with 1853 Communications, our team took home 1st place in the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation competition. I helped plan and coordinate a campaign strategy across multiple channels, including running social media takeovers, hosting a campus movie night, organizing fundraisers, and hosting our largest firm event at Arcadia University. To drive turnout, our main event had a plethora of different activity tables, food, and interactive challenges for prizes. We even included creative awareness activities, such as asking participants to do 60 seconds of jumping jacks while breathing through a straw to simulate what it feels like to live with CF. From the start of planning, this was easily the most successful and rewarding event campaign I've helped plan so far. Our team's hard work translated into high engagement, a great turnout, and real support for a cause that matters.

Breathing Room Foundation

In the Fall of 2025, my team at 1853 Communications partnered with The Breathing Room, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing care and support families affected by cancer. We focused on supporting their team with strategic social media advice, tips, and tricks to help them maintain an more engaging digital presence. To bring direct attention to their mission, I also helped organize and execute on-campus fundraising events at Arcadia University.

Residents For Sustainable Cheltenham

In the Fall of 2024, during my time with 1853 Communications, I had the opportunity to work closely with a local volunteer group called Residents for a Sustainable Cheltenham. My work centered on revamping their social media presence and identity. I largely led the design of a brand-new logo and the complete revamp of their social media presence. A major highlight of the semester was helping to organize and host our "Halfway to Earth Day" event at Arcadia University, which drew an incredible turnout of over 100 attendees. Through interactive sustainability games and a hands-on craft projects, we successfully educated the campus on the environmental impacts of single-use plastics and food waste. Our campaign's success in promoting a more eco-friendly community even earned us coverage in the local news!
